SISCOG to present at the Workshop on Public Transport on February 26th.
Ricardo Saldanha, Head of Innovation, will give a lecture in the Netherlands entitled "Profit-based Optimization of Rolling Stock Rotations: A Case Study from North America".
SISCOG will present a case study from a train operator that provides passenger transportation through a seat reservation system.
Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam

In this workshop, SISCOG will provide insights about the solution method used and the results obtained in practice, namely by using SISCOG’s FLEET, and in particular its optimisers, which allow to increase revenue and decrease costs by producing rolling stock rotations that adjust seat capacity to passenger demand in a smarter way.

This presentation, which will take place on 26 February, is part of the program of the quarterly event "Workshop on Public Transport" organized by the "Erasmus Center for Optimization in Public Transport" - a research center from Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
