On March 4th, SISCOG will organize a Maths’ Day at our Lisbon Offices. It will be an event for university students of Applied Mathematics and focused on the theme "How to transform mathematical knowledge into national exports: SISCOG’s case study".
Among other topics, it will be possible to learn how SISCOG uses Mathematics to optimise the operation of the London Underground or the Dutch and Canadian railways. Moreover, students will discover how mathematics can contribute to more sustainable mobility, a current hot topic. To instigate the mathematical minds, participants will be challenged with a related math problem.
We’re very enthusiastic about this event. Registrations can be made here until the 2nd of March.
