During 1999-2000, SISCOG developed and implemented a Quality Management System.
Our aim was to improve internal procedures and methodologies, with the goal of providing still
better products and services to our customers.
With the Quality Management System many improvements were
accomplished in processes that have a direct impact to the customer: software development, software testing,
software maintenance, project management, configuration management, and users training.
Our quality
system complies with the International Standard ISO 9001:2000, and it was officially certified and
registered in December 29, 2000 by SGS International Certification Services.
SISCOG was the first company in the Portuguese market to be certified according to ISO 9001:2000,
whose official version was published in December 15, 2000. This is an international recognition,
issued by a credible and independent quality organisation, which SISCOG is ready to face the challenges
and goals requested by our customers and partners, with an approach based on quality requirements.
