In September 28 and 29,
2000, SISCOG gathered in the old town of Sintra,
representatives of six European railway companies, for the 1st
CREWS User's Group Meeting.
This meeting gathered a total of 30 people, among users, guests and people from SISCOG.
The following companies were present: the Portuguese
Railways (CP), Dutch Railways (NS), Norwegian State Railways
(NSB) and West Anglia Great Northern (WAGN).We also invited to participate in this meeting two other UK train operators.
This was an opportunity to share extremely interesting experiences, and to participate in discussions concerning several
aspects on the way of increasing the productivity of railway crews.
The meeting ended with a presentation on
the future perspectives and research work in which the
Innovation Department of SISCOG is firmly
committed.
